WHY CHOOSE CMA?
CMA allows students to work at their own pace with short specific topic workshops of their choice. Several platforms are offered to suit the style of learning preferred, by offering live/ online / customized workshops whereas the student can select their instructor and subject they wish to learn.
Students can accelerate their Makeup Artistry and/or Hairstyling career with each certified class that are designed for CMA attendees to start working in the industry as soon as possible.
Our group classes are small to ensure proper education. We care about the quality more than the numbers. One on One classes are also offered to get the high level education you deserve.
CMA has a 30 year history of teaching ~ equipped with the knowledge on how to start your “Artistry” career successfully.
DO I NEED TO BUY A MAKEUP KIT FOR CLASSES?
Demo webinars / workshops do not require students to purchase a kit. Hands On Classes would require studentsto have their own materials necessary for their scheduled class.
A list will be given at the time of registration. Some items may be available on our store ... or you can shop elsewhere if you do not already have in your current kit.
This will apply to both Hair & Makeup workshops that are not a demo only workshop, but a “interactive” hands on class where you are working on a model.

All instructors at CMA have been chosen for their expertise of working professionally in the industry for years. Our instructors only teach in areas they excel in and are extremely talented and experience.

Being in the presence of an instructor will give the feedback that you need to activate you to the highest learning potential. Giving you a more solid foundation for a successful career vs a career built on a house of cards.
Watching videos are convenient & cheaper, but to reach a higher level of achievement you need a experienced instructor that will give the critique you need in real time.
Professional guidance from industry working professionals will give you insight to the business side of the industry in addition to the creative application you are studying. Lots of practice and passion for the industry added to this will take you to new heights.

WHY ARE THE WORKSHOPS SHORT COMPARED TO OTHER SCHOOLS?
CMA allows students to work at their own pace with short specific topic workshops of their choice. Instead of one long course with many subjects that you may not need for your career choice.
Students decide what they wish to study ... and how they wish and when they wish to take.
Having shorter classes will allow students to start working sooner ~ than later. If a student feels they need more education ~ we welcome you to continue your studies anytime in any format.
WHO CAN ENROLL?
Anyone who is the age of 18 or older can enroll.
No cosmetology or esthetician license is needed ~ Our training is directed more for the free lance makeup artist and/ or Hairstylist. Not for one that wishes to work in a Salon or Spa.
No experience is needed ~ but we will help you register for the workshop that will best assist you in your career goals and will be best suited to your current artistry experience.

DO I RECEIVE A LICENSE WHEN I AM DONE?
There is no license for free lance makeup artistry or hairstyling ~ unless required by your individual state or country of residence.
CMA will award a certificate of completion after each Pro Workshop taken. A certificate will show potential employers that you are versed in specific areas of makeup artistry ~ Professional training from a credible industry instructor not a “YouTube” video...
